About Us

Eric & Deborah Gillitzer
ERIC AND DEBORAH GILLITZER are the owners of Dance on Air, a locally owned business in Madison, WI, since 2001. They are the only USISTD and ISTD Certified Dance Instructors and Trainers in Madison, WI, and Deborah is the first person in the United States who is certified in the Viennese Waltz with the ISTD. As competing Professionals in American Smooth, Eric and Deborah also compete in many other styles (Rhythm, Standard, etc.) as Pro/Am with their students at ballroom dance competitions all over the nation. Though they have extensive training and have been teaching for over 13 years, they continue to work with the best dance coaches in the United States to improve their knowledge, technique, and competition style as they introduce new students to the romance and appeal of dance. Both of them perform regulary for professional showcases, charities and other events on a regular basis around Wisconsin, and had starred together in a local music video produced by John Urban and recorded by Mark Croft in 2010.
